What the free editor includes
Photo Video Editor started from a simple frustration: every "free" online editor turned out to be a paywall with a canvas attached. Watermarks on exports, sign-up walls before the first save, files quietly uploaded to someone else's servers. So we built the editor we actually wanted: a complete photo and video studio that runs entirely in your browser, is genuinely free, and treats your files as none of our business.

Editing runs locally on your device and projects are stored in your own browser. We cannot see your photos or videos, because they are never sent to us.
The editor is free with no watermark, forever. Only AI generations cost money, every tool shows its price up front, and failed generations are never charged.
Your work exports as ordinary files: PNG, MP4, SVG, print-ready pages. Back up everything to a single file and take it anywhere, including away from us.
There is no growth department. When something breaks, the people who built it read your email and ship the fix.
What we build
The editor. A photo editor, a video editor with a multi-track timeline, a logo maker with real SVG export, and print-ready business cards, flyers and brochures. It installs as an app, works offline, and exports everything clean at full quality. No watermark, no export limits, no account.
The AI Studio. An optional layer on top: product shots, professional headshots, logo concepts, social visuals and one-tap photo fixes. AI runs on pay-as-you-go credits, and if you already pay for ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Grok, a Pro subscription lets you plug in your own account and generate with no markup from us. The rule behind both: the free tier is the product, not the bait. AI is priced at what it costs us to serve, and everything that can run on your device instead of a server, does.
The company
Photo Video Editor is built and operated by Five Quantum Bits, LLC, a small independent software company. We are not funded by advertising and we do not sell data; the product is paid for by the people who choose Pro, Lifetime and AI credits.
